I'm not sure what to think of this.there is a remake of the movie "Ice Castles".This is one of my favourite movies of all time.I don't know if there could ever be another Lexi Winston,who was played by Lynn Holly Johnston in the original movie.Here is a link about the new movie version.

I found this movie montage clip set to "Through The Eyes of Love" that was the originals movie's Love theme.Ahhhh.....brings back so many memories.It's a bit long but fun to relive it again.

My opinion on ANY classic movie remakes is...

DO NOT REMAKE THEM!

I watched this movie this past winter, it reminded me how awesome it was and there is no way the remake will top it in my books

Oh, and I had a mad crush on Robby Benson when I was young!

Haha!! I had to go back and read the article again.I seen the part that David Wilson was one of the choreographers for this project but totally missed the part of it being filmed in Halifax.Wouldn't you know that was mentioned in the very first line of the link I posted in my first post on this topic. 

I can't wait to see what they do on this remake.I do still love the original and believe it still holds up after all these years.Have you seen the original movie version Lesley?

I have seen the original several times and loved it.  I watched it once, with the kids and they drove me nuts with their critiques of the technical stuff.  I never watched it with them again!!

I was 11 years old when I seen it for the first time(that seems like ages ago).It was what I wanted to to do for my Birthday that year.I watched the movie,read the book and bought the soundtrack.I pretended to be Lexi for weeks on end after that.I was thrilled when the movie came out on VHS and then later to come out on DVD.

Gosia....yes there is a book.I remember reading it years and years ago.I don't remember the author though.I bet if you google it you could find it though.

Just wondering if anyone has seen are heard about the movie?Has it come out yet?Do we know if it is going straight to dvd or is it going to open in theaters?I never heard a thing on it at all
